The Mission of BRC is supported by philanthropic gifts as well as grants from federal agencies and foundations. BRC aims to expand its educational, research and service to health care workers and biomedical researchers. The work of BRC is supported by two generous endowment gifts:

• The Steven J. Bander Professorship of Medical Ethics and Professionalism
• The Dr. Daniel Bisno Ethics in Medicine Fund

BRC is currently seeking support for several philanthropic projects:

• BRC Naming Gift to support BRC operations and pilot projects
• Endowed Professorship to enable BRC to recruit an established investigator and mentor to strengthen BRC’s ability to compete for training grants and research funding
• Named Post-Doctoral Fellowship to support a fellow in perpetuity
