Heidi Walsh is a Senior Project Manager at the Bioethics Research Center. She manages research projects involving ethical, social, and professional issues that affect patients, researchers, and healthcare providers. Heidi also serves as the managing editor for Narrative Inquiry in Bioethics: A Journal of Qualitative Research (NIB). The journal provides a forum for exploring complex bioethical issues through the words of the people experiencing them. The NIB narratives can be used to foster empathy, as a tool for narrative education, and to raise awareness of bioethical issues.
Heidi’s interests include the promotion of evidence-informed policy and decision-making, qualitative data analysis, and improving the patient experience.
