AREAS OF EXPERTISE

I am a member of the Ethics Committee at Barnes-Jewish Hospital and currently serve as the co-Chair of its Education Subcommittee. I have been actively involved in clinical medical ethics for more than 20 years. I also Chair the Practicum Subcommittee of the BJH Ethics Committee, which began in 2014 and has been recruiting members from multiple professional disciplines from the BJH and Washington University communities. This provides a venue to participate in major functions of the Committee, including policy review, education, case consultation and continuous quality improvement. This is the formal program for ethics certification at BJH. Web site: http://www.ethicspracticum.com

I am a member of the American Society for Bioethics and Humanities.
