CONSULTATION & COLLABORATION

BRC faculty have extensive expertise in social science methods used to study ethical, social, and professional issues in health care and research. Methods include: surveys, in-depth interviews, cognitive interviews, focus groups, content analysis, pre- and post-testing, Delphi consensus panels, and experimental designs.

With funding from the Institute of Clinical and Translational Sciences (ICTS), we are able to provide a limited number of hours of consultation on study designs for projects that explore ethical and regulatory issues in health care and research. In general, we prefer projects in which we can become co-investigators, providing support for BRC faculty and staff throughout the life of a project.
