ERIN SOLOMON, PhD, is a Senior Scientist in the Bioethics Research Center in the Division of General Medical Sciences at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. She completed her PhD in social psychology from Saint Louis University with a secondary concentration in Quantitative Methods in the Behavioral Sciences and a Certificate in University Teaching Skills, where her scholarly work focused on political psychology and the scholarship of teaching and learning.

Erin’s work in the BRC engages both quantitative and qualitative methods, and focuses on such topics as implementing evidence-based informed consent practices in clinical trials, exploring ethical issues in industry-academia partnerships in neurotechnology device development, exploring the religious factors that predict attitudes toward genetics and precision medicine, and exploring the role of culture in professional decision-making. Erin is also the director of the BRC Testing Services.
